REVIEW METALCURSE

With an actual surge in quality Extreme Metal from Italy these days (FORGOTTEN TOMB, FEARBRINGER, FUNERAL RAPE, MIND SNARE) the act of reviewing an Italian Black Metal band’s demo/CDR brings much less skepticism and outright fear than it would’ve 2-3 years ago (even if one of the dudes is wearing a turban). And although the music is a touch predictable, the vocals all over the place, and the drum programming a little cheap, it isn’t terrible by any stretch. The majestic arrangements sound great and the synths and clean guitar add a nice touch. There just might be hope for us wops yet.
